Halloween Cards-Batty For You!

Here are a couple of cards and cute little baskets I have done for Halloween. The first one is K & Co. Paper with Stampin'Up Wild Wasabi for the card part. I used the "Batty for you" Stampin' Around Roller for the sentiment. That is my Husky's nose checking out the baskets! On the inside of the "Batty" card I put a "Pop-Up" with a K & Co. Bat accessory. Kinda cute I think! The "Happy Halloween" card is K & Co. Papers mixed with solid backgrounds from Stampin'Up. Very colorful! Boo Hoo Halloween is over tomorrow.....

Harley-Davidson Bag & Card

This fun little gift contained a Harley license plate photo album and The cute Stampin' Up set Crusin' Christmas (Retired). My friend loves her Harley and is getting it repainted in a white with a pink design. So that is why it is all the pink. The stamp sets used were a registered Harley stamp set and Stampin'Up's "Priceless," "Office Accoutrement" & "Wing it"sets.

SnowMan Soup Container

This is what I call a Tent Container: 6 x 12 piece of paper, score at 1 in, 5.5 in, and 7.5 in. Fold the 1 in top over the triangle fold and there is your tent. Punch holes in all three layers for ribbon to feed through, then glue a 6in baggie inside and fill with goodies. I filled mine with Hot Chocolate packets, peppermint rounds, and Hershey's Kisses....SnowMan Soup! Stampin' Up tools: Flaky Friends Stamps, Snowflake Punch, Snowman Fun Wheel, Hostess Set: In the Spotlight. Colored in with H20 pencils and crayons.

Punched Turkey...Gobble Gobble...

I was asked by one of the demonstrators in our "Women In Ink" group to post my "Punch Turkey" pictures. Well here they are... I am also posting a picture of all the Stampin' Up punches and Fiskers tools I used to make the little Gobbler! Punches used: Med. & Sm. Ovals, 1 1/4 Circle, Multi. Flower, Lg. 5 Point Flower, Scallop Circle, Filigree Corner, Teardrop Handpunch, 3/4 Circle and a Crimper....... If you click on the Tools picture you can enlarge it to read my notes and look at the overlays I put on some of the punches for you to visualize how I did it. Gobble Gobble....

Fun with Tiles!

This is my first experiment with tiles. These were stamped with Black Staz-On. Then I colored them with chalks. To finish I sprayed them with Krylon Workable Fixative. I have read so many ways to seal the tiles I thought I would try the fixative. I did not heat them either, which I have read is one of the ways to set the color. I will be testing these with water, scrubbing, and chemicals to see if they are sealed well enough to use as coasters and trivets. I purchased the tiles at my local Home Depot. These are the " Jeffrey Court - 4 in. Botticino" tiles. $5.99 for 1 SQ. FT. = 9 tiles. The stamp set is the retired "A New Little Someone" from Stampin 'Up. I just love the Bunny....He is too cute!

Man Made Card

I Found this today about a "Man Made Card" Watch all 5 minutes! Those of you with a Hubby that is good in the garage will appreciate this! I do because I myself am a good garage crafter! http://www.livevideo.com/video/537FF9DA20B44560845DEE157D1F9DD6/man-made-card.aspx

Witch Hat Garland

My Witch Hat Garland was designed with my Pazzles Pro and Stampin' Up paper. I did the design for the hat part with my Pazzles and the bottoms were cut with large circle cutters. I am so glad I have my Pazzles because cutting out 31 of these hats (for the Women in Ink meeting) and putting them together would have been even more time consuming if I had to do the cutting by hand! This is one way to use your "On Board Lots of Letters". They are covered with the "Creepy Crawly" paper pack and then they are VersaMarked and embossed with Iridescent Ice. Then I cut out some transparency paper to back them so the middle of each letter would show through. Then I hung them with Fun Fur and ribbon. Gotta love Halloween! P.S. Someone asked me how I kept the brims on....the brims are made of 2 large circles and one of the large circles has a smaller circle cut out out of the middle to fit over the witch hat itself. The hat has tabs cut to glue to the inside of the 2 brims.

Halloween Tree

This cute little tree was inspired by the photos that were coming from the 2007 Stampin'Up convention. I decided to create this tree as a display for our Women in Ink meeting. The tree includes a "sour cream box", three "2 4 6 containers", Witch Hats that I designed for my Pazzles Pro and little medallions created with the "Batty for you" set from Stampin'Up. Of course it is topped off by cobwebs! If you have any questions on how to do any of these fun things email me!
