Stampin' Up Colors and Matching Printer Ink Codes

I have been seeing a lot of people asking for the color codes for printer ink match ups to Stampin' Up' Ink colors. I can not give credit to the original person who designed this with all the coding because the person who gave this to me did not know who did it originally either. I took the colors and put them into a Word Doc and then turned them into a PDF file. Click on this link and you will have the file in PDF. So far some of the colors have been pretty close with a little tweek here and there. Hope this helps!

Two Step Stampin' set a hit!

This is the card I did for my first Hostess party away from the comfort of my own studio! This card and the cute Magnet Coaster Calendar contributed to a great party. This Two Step Stampin' set; "Blossoms Abound" was really a big winner. All but one person ordered the set. I apologize for the yellow appearing envelope. It really is more of a linen color. It just came out a bit more yellow in the photo. The party was a huge success! All total merchandise sales were over 1,300. There were 10 people (mostly family) of this gal and they all really wanted to help her get free merchandise. I even goofed on an order and missed and item on one of the receipts and had to call the gal's mother back to tell her and she ordered $100. 00 more in product!! Unfortunately no one wanted to book another party but this one was good so I can not complain! I really had forgotten how pretty this set can be. Paper used was Mellow Moss & Pale Plum. Inks were Classic Almost Amethyst & Orchid Opulence for the Lilacs and Always Artichoke & Mellow Moss for the sentiment, leaves and branches . Antique Brads and the Ticket Corner punch were used for the corners.

Magnetic Coaster Calendar, Post-it-note, Notepad Trio

One of my gal friends is hosting her first party this weekend. I designed this magnetic coaster calendar as one of the projects this weekend. The matching pen & notepad, along with the Post-It-Note holder are going to be drawing giveaways to match the calenders they make.

Here are the highlights of this project: Paper: Flowers for you, Matching: 1/4 Grosgrain Ribbons, Fire & Ice Rhinestone Brads, Sanding blocks, Inks used for sponging edges, Eyelets and of course the Crop-a-dile! Using the Pretties Kit I dyed the flower with Ink and the finger daubers. You have to have matching flowers! Don't forget the clear center Rhinestone. All this and not a stamp used yet...oh my that will be the next project for them. Oh yes I highlighted the 3/16 corner rounder, 3/4 circle and the word window punches too!
This little notepad is perfect for tucking your business card into. They won't throw your business card away with this little item. On the front I created a pen holder by scoring 4 times with a 1/2 inch in between. Then I just glued the band all the way around. Now to keep it closed I use tiny round magnets about the size of a dime. I happened to cover these so you can not see them but the magnets I use are silver coated to look pretty even if exposed. I rarely use Velcro because it catches on clothes and collects hair. (dog hair ! a big problem at my house...furbag Husky!) Top view to see how it is scored to hold the little pencil.
The Post-It-Note holder has two flowers from the Priceless Set with matching Fire & Ice Rhinestones and Inks and Grosgrain ribbons!

For photographing the magnet coaster calendar I made a quick "table tent" style hold up. Now this would work also if you wanted a back to back coaster calender with a cute picture or stamp on the back. The calenders came from Vippies and the little note pads came two in a pack from Wal*Mart. Oh yeah, I go out maybe once a week to meet friends at one of the local Pubs and have been "borrowing" *wink wink* my coasters from there! He He He! Sorry for not posting this week but I have been making my own "Show on the Go" set up.
The price Stampin' Up wanted for the kit was more than I wanted to pay. So I made my own display boards complete with metal frames and Velcro material front and back. I will post pictures soon. Also I will give you my cost of products which is way way less than the SU model with shipping.

Ya gotta thank the person that is throwing the party! So here is my Football card to thank him! Stamp is from Katie & Co. Paper is Stampin' Up . Ribbon is from The Fabric Barn in LongBeach CA. (looks just like the Stampin'Up double stiched but in Choc. Chip color) Happy Super Bowl!!!
